Main Customer Management Screen

With the SpeedyPOS™ Retail POS Software customer management just got a whole lot easier. Using the main customer management screen you can see at a glance:
You can also choose to Print a Customer Statement – very handy when the customer needs a timely reminder of the details of their account balance.
The ability to view and make changes to a customer’s account is controlled by the security settings you set.
For those times that you need to see more detailed customer information - SpeedyPOS™ offers the following detailed customer areas off the main customer screen:

Financial Tab
Reduce errors, improve efficiency and increase cash flow using the Financial Tab. Authorized individuals can quickly set up a variety of account control settings:
Applicable Price Schedule – selecting the correct price schedule ensures your customer is automatically charged the right price during transactions.
Charge Type – by selecting Account, Cash Only or Suspended your staff do not have to ‘remember’ the status of all of your customers.
Credit Limit – you determine what a customer’s credit limit should be and if a customer goes over it – supervisor approval is required before the transaction can be completed.
Tax Number – enter it once and you won’t have to look it up during transactions.
Pays Tax – identifies the taxes that the customer will be automatically charged (if the taxes are applicable on the items purchased).

Contact Name Tab
This handy SpeedyPOS™ feature – allows you to identify the customer contacts, their positions, phone numbers and addresses. The yellow highlighting indicates the main customer contact:

Invoices Tab
Make it easy for your customers to pay you by printing past invoices for customers who have lost the original, re-calculating Estimates, or printing out handy invoice lists.
Stay on top of your customer accounts. Quickly see your customer’s invoice and estimate history from several perspectives: historical, current and accounts receivable.

Purchases Tab
Stay on top of your customers’ purchases. Know exactly which items your customer has purchased and when.
The Purchases tab allows you to view item purchases from several perspectives: summarized item lists, all items lists, or items by invoice as shown below:

You can create a new invoice or add to an open invoice by selecting the appropriate items from the lists:

and clicking on the Add Selected to New Invoice button. Automatically a new invoice is created for you to process.
Comments Tab
Attaching Comments to a customer will alert staff to their special needs, account issues, or any other piece of information you decide your staff needs. The alert will appear at any time the customer account is selected in SpeedyPOS™.
Customer comments are customizable by you - the above customer alert will appear on your screen as follows:
As customers frequently can see your screen – it would be advisable to ‘code’ your messages – for example the term Customer Level 1 – could mean anything from ‘treat this customer very well’ to ‘call your supervisor immediately’. You determine what your customer comments are and what those comments mean.

Payments Tab
The Payments tab gives you a quick ‘snap shot’ of the customers payments. This is very handy when discussing payments with a customer as you can tell them exactly what their payments have been, the amount, dates, tender types – as well as their total Payments.
